1. Unplug the unit. Open the lock (F) and the front
cover. The safety micro-switch will prevent an
eventual start-up of the motor.
2. Remove the worn-out disc and place a new
one. Make sure it is properly centered.
3. Close the cover again, making sure the lock (F)
is properly closed.
ALUMINIUM PLATE MAINTENANCE
If plaster accumulates in the back of the aluminum
plate, then the machine could vibrate. Then
proceed to clean as follows:
1. Unplug the unit. Open the lock (F) and the front
cover. The safety micro-switch will prevent an
eventual start-up of the motor.
2. Remove the abrasive disc.
3. Use the Allen spanner to unscrew the bolt that
fixes the disc to the motor shaft.
4. Remove the extraction bolt from the back of the
unit and screw it up in the middle of the plate.
Then pull the screw and extract the plate.
5. Dip the plate in water, remove the plaster with a
brush and dry.
6. When you place the plate again, do not forget
the pin that couples it to the motor.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
To
ensure
a
correct,
performance of the unit we strongly recommend:

After using the unit, clean the dust and plaster
remains from the table (B) and the front cover.
▪
Do not use alcohol or any other solvent to clean
the unit.
▪
Never immerse the unit in a liquid.
▪
If you notice unusual noises or vibrations, send
the unit to a technical assistance service.
▪
Replace the abrasive disc whenever you notice
a significat fall in performance.
▪
After replacing the disc, check that there are not
unusual vibrations.
▪
The unit has been designed to operate correctly
leaning on the four rubber blocks in its base.
These elements are strong enough to bear the
movement of the trimming.
PRECAUTIONS
▪
Before connecting the unit to the power source,
make sure the voltage is correct (grounded
230 V, 50/60 Hz)
▪
When trimming a model, protect yourself
suitably. Always wear gloves, safety goggles,
and a mask. Use proper clothes. No baggy
clothes, ties, necklaces, rings, bracelets or
elements that could be hooked by the machine.
Be careful with long hair.
▪
Always use the water-cleaning system to clean
the discs.
▪
Do not allow children or unskilled personnel to
operate the unit.
▪
Do not allow anybody to by-pass the safety
micro-switch that detects that the cover/door is
closed or to operate the unit when the
cover/door is open.
▪
If the motor shaft jams during normal operation,
disconnect the unit from the power source
before trying to free the shaft by forcing its
rotation manually.
▪
Do not polish, brush, or grind materials that
could release particles that are toxic when
inhaled.
▪
Before using the unit, make sure it is placed on
a firm and solid base.
▪
Do not use the unit close to solvents or other
inflammable materials.
▪
When replacing the disc, make sure that the
sprinkler (I) is in good condition and free from
plaster.
