The R-080096 is an easy to handle model trimmer
specially designed for the field of dental prosthesis.
Its 3000 r.p.m. powerful motor has a brake that
stops the spin after turning the main switch off.
Its dimensions give the unit an excellent stability
during operation. It features a 122 mm window (one
of the widest in the market).
Its design allows to place a big storage tray
(R-100062) on the unit in order to keep the models
well arranged and the workbench clear.
The R-080096 has a factory installed 80 grit
abrasive disc and a second unit to replace.
Replacements:
80 grit abrasive disc (coarse) R-080093-04 (5 u.)
The following items are also factory supplied:

A water inlet hose.

An extensible drainpipe.
INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT
1. Carefully unpack the model trimmer. Make sure
the unit has not suffered any damage during
the transport.
2. Place the unit on a flat and firm surface, away
from any heat or vibration source.
3. Connect an aspiration unit to the outlet (H) in
the right bottom front part of the unit.
4. The unit has four rubber pads. When designing
the unit, special care has been taken to give the
unit enough weight and robustness to prevent
any
movement

OPERATION OF THE UNIT
1. Adjust the table (B) with the knob (E), according
to the type of work. Once the working position
has been selected, screw the locknut (C) up as
far as it goes to fix the table.
2. If you want to trim at a vertical 90º angle, align
the lower edge of the table with the edge of the
casing:
3. Take proper safety measures. Always wear:
- Use safety goggles.
- Use safety gloves.
- Use a face-mask
- Proper clothes. No baggy clothes, ties,
necklaces, rings, bracelets or elements that
could be hooked by the machine.
- Be careful with long hair.
4. Turn on the main switch placed in the upper
part of the unit. The motor will start up and the
operation light (E) will lit up.
5. Place the model to be trimmed on the table (B).
For a greater precision while trimming, the table
has a set of marks to be used as reference to
determinate the cutting angles.
6. When the work is over, turn the main switch off.
7. After operating the trimmer, it is strongly
recommended to clean the table and the front
casing with a dump cloth to remove the remains
of plaster.
