Storage and transport
• When moving the equipment, put the throttle knob in
the STOP position and close the fuel tap, keep the
equipment level to prevent fuel spillage.
• When storing the equipment for long periods:
• Completely drain all the fuel from the equipment as
indicated on page 3. Then run the engine until all the fuel
inside the engine is used up.
• Replace oil as indicated on page 10.
• Gently pull the starter handle until you feel resistance.
This indicates that the cylinder is reaching its
compression phase and the exhaust and intake valves
are closed. Storing the equipment in these conditions
prevents internal corrosion.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth and cover it to
avoid the accumulation and entry of dust.
• Store the equipment in a clean and dry place and out
of the reach of children.
General considerations
CAUTION
• Regular and careful maintenance is
essential to maintain optimal safety levels and
performance of the equipment.
• Before cleaning, repairing, inspecting, or storing
equipment, turn off the engine and wait for the engine to
cool completely.
• Keep nuts, bolts, and screws tight to ensure equipment
is in safe working condition.
• Do not tamper with security devices. Check its correct
operation regularly.
• Any worn or damaged part must be replaced before
using the equipment. Do not attempt to repair the parts,
as they may damage the equipment and put your safety at
risk.
• Any repair or maintenance other than those described in
this section, such as injector adjustment, must only be
carried out at a
Center.
