Check whether the nipple (H) on the product matches
the quick-release coupling on your compressed air
system. If necessary, replace the nipple on the product
with a suitable type with a 1/4" male thread.
Fig.4 (AR90)
Fit the collecting tray (I) as shown. Fasten union nut (L),
position and tighten the stop ring (M) such that the col-
lecting tray does not obstruct the venturi unit.
Connect the flexible collecting hose to the rigid pipe
(N) and fasten using the hose clips supplied.
Fig. 5 (R90)
Fit the collecting tray (I) as shown. Fit the collecting tray
to the threaded ring (K) on the tank with the aid of a
suitable C-spanner.
Extracting oil (A90, AR90)
It is only allowed to extract hot oil (70-
80°C / 158-176°F).
Never fill prechamber beyond the
STOP mark given on the scale!
The extraction capacity of the product
is 2/3 of the tank volume!
The tank must never be filled beyond
the limit on the oil level gauge fitted to
the side of the tank.
Placing in operation
Fig. 6:The probe for extracting the engine
oil is already fitted on some MERCEDES ve-
hicles. It is therefore sufficient to connect the
quick-release connector [B] on the extractor
directly to the probe already fitted.
On other vehicle types (Volkswagen - BMW - Citroën)
with a probe already fitted, but with a different open-
ing, please use the adaptor [C]-Volkswagen, [D]-BMW,
[E]- Citroën).

Generating vacuum Fig. 7
Close cock (O) (only AR90)
Completely open valve (P) by turning counter-
clockwise.
Close compressed air cock (Q) by turning clockwise.
Close extraction cock (R) and drain cock (S).
Couple compressed air hose (7 bar) to the nipple. A
considerable amount of air will escape at the acoustic
attenuator.
When the pointer on the vacuum gauge approaches
the green area (after approx. 2.5 - 3 minutes), uncouple
compressed air hose.
A vacuum has now been built up in the product and the
product is ready for extracting waste oil independent of
the compressed air supply.
Preparing extraction
Pull dipstick out of the hot engine and insert the probe
with the largest possible diameter to the base of the
sump.
Fit extraction hose to the probe fitted to the engine.
Ensure the probe remains immersed in the oil!
Extracting oil independent of the com-
pressed air supply Fig. 8 and 9
Open extraction cock (R). Oil is extracted and col-
lected in the transparent prechamber. In this way it is
possible to check the amount and quantity of oil col-
lected. As soon as all the oil has been extracted, close
the extraction cock (R).
Press valve (P) to drain the oil extracted into the tank.
The valve (P) can be held in the pressed position by
folding up the locking lever (T).
Limited extraction of oil (capacity of the
prechamber)
Connect compressed air hose (7 bar) to the quick-re-
lease connector, allow a vacuum to build up, discon-
nect compressed air hose.
Close valve (Q) by turning clockwise.
Open extraction cock (R) (Prechamber is filled.
Capacity approx. 5 litres).
Press valve (P) to drain the oil extracted into the tank. At
the same time a vacuum is built up in the prechamber
for further extraction.
It is also possible to extract the hot waste oil with the
product continuously connected to the air supply.
The valve (P) must be opened prior to
draining the oil collected in the pre-
chamber into the tank.
