3. Turn the handle clockwise to tighten it tightly.
Make sure that the auxiliary handle is tightly connect to the
depth stop rod clamp. This attaches the depth stop rod at the
necessary depth of cut. It also holds the auxiliary handle.

OPERATION
WARNING
Always wear eye protection.
WARNING
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product.
4.1
START THE MACHINE
Figure 6.
1. Push the switch trigger.
4.2
STOP THE MACHINE
Figure 6.
1. Release the switch trigger.
4.3
ADJUST THE DIRECTION
BUTTON
Figure 7.
The machine has the direction button (forward/reverse lock)
above the switch trigger to chang the direction of the bit.
1. When the direction button is on the left side of the switch
trigger, the bit direciton is forward.
2. When the direction button is on the right side of the
switch trigger, the bit direction is reversible.
3. Put the direction button in the OFF (center lock) position
to help decrease the possibility of accidental start when
not operate.
CAUTION
To prevent gear damage, always let the chuck come to a
complete stop.
The machine does not operate until the direction button is
pushed fully to the left or right.
4.4
ADJUST THE DEPTH STOP ROD
Figure 8.
1. Put the direction button in the center position to lock the
switch trigger.
2. Push the rod adjustment button.

3. Adjust the depth stop rod to get the necessary drilling
depth.
4. Release the rod adjustment button.
When correctly installed, the teeth on the depth stop rod
must be aligned with the teeth indicator on the depth stop
rod clamp.
4.5
SELECT THE MODE
Figure 9.
To change the operation mode, push the release button and
turn the mode selection switch to the correct position until it
clicks.
The machine is used for four functions: drill, hammer,
hammer drill, chisel, vari-lock and rotation stop.
Hammer drilling mode can destroy the structure of the
machine when used for fastening or drilling without SDS
Plus bits.
Use bits only with hard metal and SDS Plus shaft only.
When hammer drilling, do not apply too much pressure.
4.6
DRILL
1. Examine the direction of rotation selector for the correct
setting (forward or reverse).
2. Attach the material to be drilled in a vise or with clamps
to keep it from turning.
3. Hold the drill tightly and put the bit at the correct
poiistion.
4. Push the switch trigger to start the drill.
5. Move the drill bit into the workpiece and apply only
sufficient pressure to keep the bit cutting. Do not force
the drill or apply side pressure to elongate a hole.
6. When drilling on hard or smooth surfaces, use a center
punch to identify the necessary hole location. This can
prevent the drill bit from moving from the center.
7. When drilling metals, use a light oil on the drill bit to
keep it from overheating. The oil can prolong the life of
the bit and increase the drilling action.
8. If the bit jams in the workpiece or if the drill stalls, stop
the machine immediately. Remove the bit from the
workpiece and determine the reason for jamming.
Dill has a tendency to grab and kick opposite to the
direction of rotation and could cause loss of control when
breaking through material. If not prepared, this loss of
control can result in possible serious injury.
