4.3. Accessing the voicemail of another extension or outside the
PBX system
To call from a extension with category, dial #87 +
+ your extension number +
*
voice mail password.
This operation can also be done out of the PBX system.
To call the voice mail during the greeting, dial the voice mail number +
+ extension
*
number + voice mail password.
To call from an external number with DISA, during the DISA greeting, dial #87 +
password.
To call from an external number through E1, dial the voice mail DDR.
Note: the commands for these items are not accepted during the customized gre-
eting. In this case, follow with the command during the greeting "After the tone,
please leave your message."
4.4. Listening to the messages
In order to listen to new messages, dial #87 + voicemail password + 4
After listening to the voicemail messages, dial # as the message is shown to skip to
the next message.
You cannot listen to the new messages only. You should delete all the other listened
messages to avoid listening to them again each time to access your voicemail.
Dial 3 after listening to a message to delete it.
The amount of messages spoken by the mailbox is of up to 59 messages. For instan-
ce: You have 20 messages.
Above this amount of messages, the mailbox will only tell you "You have messages."
4.5. Recording a customized greeting
Access the voice mail dialing #87 , wait for the greeting, and then dial your password.
After that, please follow the menu bellow:
To change the voice mail options, press 5.
To change the type of new message alert, press 4.
After the tone, record your greeting.
Note: do not disconnect your call until the recording is confirmed by a second tone.
