VARIABLE SPEED
SWITCH
Your hammer drill has
a variable speed dial
on switch. The speed
is regulated by the
pressure applied to
the switch.
Variable speed is particularly useful when
starting the hammer drill. Also allows you to
set an optimal speed for any kind of job.
FORWARD/REVERSE SWITCH.
The forward/reverse switch determines the
running direction of the tool.
1. To select "forward" motion, release the
trigger switch, and push the forward/reverse
switch to the right side of the tool.
2. To select "reverse" motion, release the
trigger switch, and push the forward/reverse
switch to the left side of the tool.
WARNING: When switching speeds, make
sure to release the trigger and wait for the
hammer drill to stop.
NOTE: When you operate the tool in counter-
clockwise rotation, the switch trigger is pulled
only halfway and the tool runs at half speed.
For counterclockwise rotation, you cannot
push in the lock button.
MECHANICAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT KNOB
The mechanical speed adjustment knob allows
the user select to select an optimal speed.
• Use a Low speed for starting holes without
a center guide, to drill on metal, plastics, ce-
ramics or any other application that require a
higuer torque.
• A Higher speed is used for drilling on wood,
compound wood and for using polish or ab-
brassive accesories.
To set a lower speed with high torque, turn off
the power tool and allow the motor to com-
pletely stops and turn the knob to position 1.
To set a higuer speed
with low torque, turn
off the hammer drill
and allow the motor
to completely stops
and turn the adjust
ment knob to position 2.

NOTE: Make sure that the speed adjustment
knob is well positioned on 1 or 2. Do not

range, manually turn the chuck until gears are
well positioned.
