Working with the vacuum cleaner
CAUTION! It is forbidden to use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum hot ash. The temperature of waste suctioned by the vacuum
cleaner must not exceed 40° C.
The vacuum cleaner can work independently as an ordinary vacuum cleaner or as an extraction device for dust generated during
operation of the power tool.
When operating the product as an ordinary vacuum cleaner, make sure that all preparatory works have been carried out correctly.
Make sure that the vacuum cleaner power switch is in the off position – "O" (XV).
Insert the plug of the power cord into the mains socket, then set the power switch to the on position – "I" (XV).
To turn the vacuum cleaner off , set the power switch to the off position – "O".
The brush is equipped with a lever that allows the bristles to be pushed in and out. Bristles should be pushed out when cleaning
smooth and hard surfaces. It is recommended to clean carpets and rugs with bristles pushed in.
After fi nishing work, turn off the vacuum cleaner using the power switch, and then unplug the power cord plug from the mains
socket. Proceed with the vacuum cleaner maintenance.
Built-in power socket
The vacuum cleaner has a built-in power socket, which is used to supply power tools belonging to the I and II electrical insulation
classes. This allows for easier use of the vacuum cleaner as an extraction system for dust generated during operation. The voltage
to the power socket is applied when the plug of the vacuum cleaner power cord is connected to the mains socket. Therefore,
before connecting the vacuum cleaner to the mains and the power tool to the vacuum cleaner power socket, make sure that the
power switches of both devices are in the off position.
After connecting the vacuum cleaner to the dust extraction outlet of the power tool (for this purpose a suitable adapter may be
needed, which is not included in the vacuum cleaner) and the power tool plug to the vacuum cleaner power socket (XIV), the vac-
uum cleaner can be started by setting the power switch to the "I" position (XV); the vacuum cleaner will start working independently
of the power tool and will work until the power switch is set to the "O" position (XV).
The recommended operating mode is automatic mode. To do this, after connecting the vacuum cleaner to the dust extraction
outlet of the power tool and the power tool plug to the vacuum cleaner power socket, set the power switch to the "II" position (XV).
The vacuum cleaner will turn on automatically after a short time after starting the power tool and will also turn off automatically
after a short time after turning off the power tool.
Regardless of the selected operating mode, after fi nishing work, turn off the vacuum cleaner by setting the power switch to the
"O" position, then unplug the vacuum cleaner plug from the socket, unplug the power tool plug from the vacuum cleaner's power
socket and proceed with maintenance activities.
Emptying the vacuum cleaner container
After fi nishing the dry work, remove the vacuum cleaner cover and check the container fi lling level. Due to the container capacity,
it is recommended to empty it after each use. This will be easier than emptying a full container.
After fi nishing the wet work, remove the vacuum cleaner cover. The dirt remaining in the container can be removed by tilting the
container. After emptying, clean the container with a water jet and then dry thoroughly.
Vacuum cleaner maintenance
Caution! Before carrying out any maintenance works, make sure that the power cord plug has been disconnected from the mains
socket.
After each use of the vacuum cleaner, check the container, cover gasket and air fi lters as described in the section: "Preparing for
operation".
Clean the external surfaces of the vacuum cleaner with a stream of compressed air with pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa.
Pay special attention to the ventilation openings, both inlet and outlet – check them for blockages. Clean them with a stream of
compressed air with pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa, if needed. Do not use sharp, metal objects for cleaning the ventilation
openings. Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water to clean it. Check the vacuum cleaner hose for damage after and before
each use. It is forbidden to use a damaged hose. In the event of water or wet debris suction, clean the inside of the vacuum clean-
er, the fl exible hose, the extension pipes and the attachments immediately after use. Dried debris can lead to irreparable damage
to the vacuum cleaner or its components.
The inside of the hose and extension pipes should be cleaned with a jet of water, after disconnecting from the vacuum cleaner,
and then left to dry completely. Remove heavy soiling from the housing with a soft cloth.
