lowing hard hat models:
STIHL ADVANCE Vent,

time. This product is in compliance
with the PPE Directive PPE Regula‐
tion (EU) 2016/425 and other appro‐
priate directives to fulfil the require‐
ments of CE marking.

This product is intended to protect
the wearer from impacts to the
head. To ensure the best possible
level of protection and comfort when
using this hard hat, it is essential to
read and observe the following infor‐
mation.
The hard hat is designed for use
when working with chain saws (e.g.
timber harvesting). The level of pro‐
tection in other applications cannot
be predicted.

For adequate protection this helmet
must fit or be adjusted to the size of
the user's head. The helmet is made
to absorb the energy of a blow by
partial destruction or damage to the
shell and the harness, and even
though such damage may not be
readily apparent, any helmet subjec‐
ted to severe impact should be
replaced. The attention of users is
also drawn to the danger of modi‐
fying or removing any of the original
component parts of the helmet,
other than as recommended by the
helmet manufacturer. Helmets
should not be adapted for the pur‐
pose of fitting attachments in any
way not recommended by the hel‐
met manufacturer. Do not apply
paint, solvents, adhesives or self-
adhesive labels, except in accor‐
dance with instructions from the hel‐
met manufacturer.
Important Points

can ensure total protection against
injury. The level of protection
depends on a number of factors.
This hard hat and its components
are no substitute for a safe working
technique. Improper use of a power
tool can result in accidents.
