Direct current measurements (DC)
• Position the rotary switch on the 600 A
highest capacity, in the event that the current value to be measured is unknown.
• Reset the read on the display with the reset push-button.
• Wind only one conductor and close the jaw.
• Read on the instrument's display the value of the current being measured.
Notes: a) The digit " 1 " on the display means that the value being measured
exceeds the capacity selected on the multimeter.
b) The " – " sign indicates the negative polarity of the current with respect
to the position of insertion of the clamp meter.
Alternating current measurements (AC)
• Position the rotary switch on the 600 A
highest capacity, in the event that the current value to be measured is unknown.
• Wind only one conductor and close the jaw.
• Read on the instrument's display the value of the current being measured.
Note: the digit "1" on the display means that the value being measured exceeds
the selected capacity.
N.B.: during the current measurements, the instrument with respect
to ground shall not be set to voltages above 600V RMS.
Direct voltage measurements (DC)
• Position the rotary switch in the V
• Connect the black lead to the "COM" bushing.
• Connect the red lead to the "V - Ω - ºC/ºF" bushing.
• Take the measurement.
Notes: a) If the " 1 " message appears on the display, the value being measured is
greater than the maximum expected capacity.
b) The " – " sign indicates the negative polarity of the signal with respect
to the position of insertion of the leads.
N.B.: do not take measurements above 200V DC.
Alternating voltage measurements (AC)
• Position the rotary switch in the V
• Connect the black lead to the "COM" bushing.
• Connect the red lead to the "V - Ω - ºC/ºF" bushing.
• Take the measurement.
Note: if the " 1 " message appears on the display, the value being measured is
greater than the maximum expected capacity.
N.B.: do not take measurements above 600V AC RMS.
