Loading
Before the drum rotating tong can pick up a drum the rubber-coated drum holder (1) must be turned to the upright
position.
Move up to the drum, the position of the holder must be between the central grooves.
Surround the drum with the clamping device and close the clamping lever (2).
The diameter of the drum mount can be reduced or increased by means of
the adjusting screws on the clamping lever.
Convince yourself of the tight fit of the barrel.
Moving
Lift the drum with the forklift truck slightly and move it slowly.
Drums must only be moved in a vertical position and on even ground.
Emptying
For emptying, the drum the forks of the forklift truck must be raised at least high enough for the drum to rotate
freely.
Release the fixing rods (3) that are to be found on the right and left of the pivot point by pulling them
-
outwards out of the anchoring.
The drum can now be turned.

If the drum is in the horizontal position it can be fixed on another resting point and you can empty it.

When the emptying procedure is finished the drum must be rotated back into the vertical position again.
The drum can only be locked in the horizontal or upright position!
Watch out for uncontrolled turning and swinging movements of the drum
Unloading
For unloading unlock the drum manually after lowering. Loosen the clamping lever.
7. Maintenance and servicing
To guarantee safe working with the product the following checks are necessary:

Regularly check for ease of movement of the moving parts and if necessary lubrication with
commercially-available grease.
Regular sight and function checks at intervals of max. one year by a qualified person.

If a deformation is detected, the using of the drum rotating tong is no longer allowed.
After cases of damage and particular incidents that could influence the carrying capacity and after repair an
extraordinary testing by a qualified person is to be carried out.
