4.5 Priming the water circuit

Before starting up the machine, after long storage
and when the water has been used up, the machine's
water circuit must be primed.
• Turn on the machine by pressing the main switch
to "I".
• Place a container under the cappuccinatore.
Open the "hot water/steam" dispenser by turning
the knob counterclockwise.
• Press the coffee button.

• Wait until a steady jet of water fl ows out from the
cappuccinatore.
• Press the coffee button again.
Close the "hot water/steam" dispenser by turning
the knob clockwise.
• Remove the container.
The machine is now ready to brew coffee and eject
steam; please see related chapters for operating
details.
Cups can be warmed on the cup warming
plate.
When the machine is on, the cup warming
plate is always enabled. Please be very
careful when performing operations in this area:
danger of slight burns.
