ADJUSTING SPEED
The speed (torque) can be set in three steps by turning the adjusting lever (13).
Milling spot welds is more efficient at low speed when a cutter for high strength steel is used.
For such cutters, the speed must be kept below 1000 rpm.
The speed can also be regulated in two steps using the adjusting ring (11) as follows:
•
Hold the tool away from you and turn the adjusting ring (11) clockwise in the position "H" for high
speed and counter-clockwise in the position "L" for low speed.
•
Make sure that the marking "H" or "L" is completely in line with the center marking on the tool
housing.
•
DO NOT turn the adjusting ring with your finger on the trigger (12) or while the tool is running.
Make sure the tool has stopped rotating before turning the collar.
•
If it is difficult to turn the adjusting ring fully to the position "L" or "H" , press the tools trigger briefly
once or twice and then move the adjusting ring completely to the desired position.
OPERATION
1. Mount the air nipple (5) on the air inlet (15).
2. Put a few drops of air device oil into the device via the air inlet (15).
3. Insert a spot weld cutter into the clamping device of the output shaft (8) and fix the spot weld
cutter by tightening the fixing screw (9) with the Allen key (6).
4. Make sure that the trigger (12) is in the non-pressed position and connect the device to the hose
of the air source.
5. Place the spot weld cutter (air tool) on the welding spot and press the trigger (12).
