WARNING! For a correct functioning of the device it is strictly necessary that the IperVoice system
fi rmware version is 5.5.0-29 or higher.
The 1039/1 server is the core of the IPerVoice system. It is housed in a slotted, wall-mounted aluminium
box. All the services provided by the IPerVoice system are managed and controlled by the server. The
server connects to the IP network - which is the main infrastructure of the IPerVoice system - via an Ethernet
port. There are three other USB ports which can be used to update the application fi rmware or to add
expansions. All system programming, confi guration and control operations are fully accessible through the
integrated Web Server. Other functions of the server include confi guring and monitoring the operation of
the system devices and promptly signalling any tampering attempts or faults. The IPerVoice server stores
all information needed for the system confi guration. Replacing a system device is quick and easy. Similarly,
confi guration data residing on the server can backed up allowing to restore the entire system in case of
faults.
