battery loses its capacity during use. This is a normal phenomenon
which reduces the effi ciency of the appliance.
Do not use the product for frozen food. Do not use for crushing ice.
CAUTION! If the appliance begins to vibrate after switching it on,
if it makes an unusual sound, or shows any other signs of mal-
function, switch it off immediately and check for the cause of the
malfunction.
Product maintenance
CAUTION! Before each cleaning, switch off the product, wait for it
to cool down and then proceed with maintenance.
CAUTION! It is recommended to clean the components of the prod-
uct after operation. This will prevent food residues from drying up
and make cleaning the product easier.
If the drive housing is contaminated with processed food during
operation, stop your work, clean the product, and only then resume
operation.
Use only mild kitchen cleaning agents to clean it. Never use abra-
sive cleaning agents, e.g. cleaning powder or milk, or agents con-
taining corrosive substances. Do not use any solvents, petrol or
alcohol to clean the product.
Dilute the cleaning agent with water, according to the instructions
supplied with the agent. Then, apply it on a soft cloth and clean the
outside of the cutting base.
Remove any residues of the cleaning agent with a soft cloth slightly
soaked in clean water. Then, dry all surfaces with a dry soft cloth.
CAUTION! The cutting base is not designed for water jet cleaning.
Do not immerse the cutting base in water or other liquid.
Wash the cup under running lukewarm water, adding detergent,
then rinse with clean water and dry with a cloth or allow to dry.
Pour approx. 0.2 l (glass) of water into the cup and add a drop of
dishwashing liquid. Install the cutting base and run the appliance
for one cycle. When fi nished, pour out water with dishwashing liq-
uid and rinse the cup under running water. Then pour approx. 0.2 l
of clean water into the cup and restart the appliance for one cycle.
This will allow to remove residual fl uid from the blades and the in-
side of the cutting base. Repeat cleaning if the blades or the inside
of the base are still visibly dirty.
No part of the product is suitable for cleaning in dishwashers or
under high-pressure water jets.
All the components must be thoroughly dried before reusing the
product.
Avoid contact with the human body, when cleaning the blades.
Transport and storage
Before commencing storage or transport of the product, clean it
thoroughly from food residues.
If stored, keep the product indoors, and make sure it is not exposed
to dust, dirt, or moisture. It is recommended to store the product in
its original packaging.
Safety instructions for battery charging
Li-ion (lithium-ion) batteries do not have the so-called "memory ef-
fect", which allows them to be recharged at any time. However, it
is recommended to discharge the battery during normal operation
and then charge it to full capacity. If, due to the nature of work, it
is not possible to use the battery in such a manner every time, it
should be done at least every several work cycles. Never discharge
any batteries by shorting the battery plates, as this will cause irrep-
arable damage! In addition, do not check the battery charge status,
by shorting the plates and checking their sparking.
Battery storage
Ensure the proper storage conditions to extend the battery's life.
The battery can withstand approximately 500 charge-discharge
cycles. Store the battery at the temperature ranging from 0ºC to
30ºC at the relative air humidity of 50%. Charge the battery to
approx. 70% of its total capacity to store it for a longer period of
time. In case of prolonged storage, the battery should be period-

ically charged once a year. Do not over-discharge the battery as
this will shorten its life and may cause irreparable damage. Dur-
ing storage, the battery will gradually discharge due to leakage.
The self-discharge process depends on the storage temperature
– the higher the temperature, the faster the discharge process. If
the batteries are stored incorrectly, electrolyte may leak. In case of
leakage, secure the leak with a neutralising agent. In the case of
electrolyte contact with eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with water, and
immediately seek medical attention. It is not allowed to use the
appliance with a damaged battery. If the battery is completely
worn, return it to a specialist waste disposal centre.
Transport of batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are treated as hazardous materials, according
to legal regulations. The user can transport the appliance together
with the battery and the batteries alone, by land. In that case, no
additional conditions have to be met. If you entrust transport to third
parties (e.g. a courier company), follow the regulations regarding
the transport of hazardous goods. Before shipping, please contact
a properly qualifi ed person. It is not allowed to transport damaged
batteries. National regulations for the transport of hazardous mate-
rials must also be observed.
