CAPILLARY TUBE SELECTION
The following table gives the colour of the capillary tube to be selected based on two variables of the osmosis unit supply
water: pH and hardness. The values of these two variables must be analysed at the installation site using water analysis
apparatus or chemical reagents (not included).
The frequency with which the pre-filter needs to be changed depends on these two variables.

After selecting the correct capillary tube according to the table above, set the pre-
filter change times on the control panel as shown in section (§ 4.8).
BLUE CAPILLARY TUBE = recovery of 55-60% at 15ºC
BLACK CAPILLARY TUBE = recovery of 35-40% at 15ºC (water softener recommended)
(standard)
WHITE CAPILLARY TUBE = recovery of 25-30% at 15ºC (water softener recommended)
The appliance must not be supplied with running water > 1200 ms or >35ºdH. If the
hardness of the inlet water is higher than 35ºF, a preliminary water softener must be
installed.
Remove the locking clip.
Press the mounting clips and remove the white capillary tube.
Insert the end of the capillary tube into the L-piece of the capillary tube connection.
Insert the locking clip between the connector and the clip.
