INSTALLATION
The appliance must be installed by qualified technicians.
The user must not install the appliance.
The site where the appliance is installed must have a floor drain to avoid personal
injury or material damage in the event of flooding.
Install the appliance in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. The bypass and mix valve,
power supply cable, display and pre-filter must be accessible and visible to the user.
Use EN61770-compliant washing machine pipes with a diameter of not less than DN10. Do
not reuse old or damaged pipes.
To install the appliance in accordance with WRAS and EN 1717, install the following
before the appliance: a <CA> anti-pollution device and "air break" in the drain
(accessories sold separately).
The electrical socket must comply with the specifications on the CE label and it must
be earthed and protected by a 0.03 mA residual current circuit-breaker. If the power
cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by the dealer, the technical service
or a qualified professional to prevent hazards.
Protect the appliance power supply against short-circuits and/or overloads by means
of suitable fuses or circuit-breaker switches. They must be installed as part of an
omni-polar disconnection system with a contact spacing of at least 3 mm.
Do not subject the appliance to excessive temperature changes as they may cause
interior condensation, which may damage electrical components.
The appliance can be installed in horizontal or vertical position; however, it must
never be laid on its front or back.
Do not obstruct or cover the rear vents.
Be careful not to bend or cover the permeate outlet pipe.
