Special safety directions
Keep fi ngers, hands and tools safely away
from the blade and shavings ejection outlet
whilst the planer is in use.
Do not use the planer on any materials
other than those for which the blade is
intended.
Make sure there are no nails or screws in the
workpiece.
Wait until the planer has completely
stopped before putting it down.

Use
Fit a dust bag or vacuum dust extraction to
the shavings ejector (3).
Use the adjustment knob (2) to set the
planning depth from 0 to 3 mm. The
adjustment knob indicates the selected
planing depth. Do not turn the adjustment
knob while planing!
The parallel guide (1) can be fi tted if
required and locked into the required
position.
Insert the plug into the mains socket and
switch on the power.
To switch on the planer, press the on/
off switch (6) and the safety button (5)
simultaneously.
Move the planer evenly back and forth
across the item using steady, sliding
movements.
When planing items with a smooth
surface, the planing depth should be small.
