Installing sanding papers
The sanding plate is fitted with Velcro backing for
quick and easy fastening of sanding paper with Velcro
adhesion.
Before attaching the sanding sheet, free the Velcro
backing of the sanding plate from any debris by tapping
against it in order to enable optimum adhesion.
Position the sanding paper flush alongside one edge of
the sanding plate, then lay the sanding paper onto the
sanding plate and press it against it with a light turning
motion in clockwise direction.
To ensure optimum dust extraction, pay attention that the
punched holes in the sanding paper match with the holes
in the sanding plate.
To remove the sanding paper, grasp it at one of the tips

Sanding accessories, such as fleece pads/ polishing
cloth pads, are attached to the sanding plate in the
same manner.
After considerable service the backing pad surface

replaced when it no longer offers a firm grip. If you are
experiencing premature wear out of the backing pad
facing, decrease the amount of pressure you are applying
during operating the tool. For maximum use of abrasive,
rotate pad 120 degrees when tip of abrasive becomes worn.
