OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
EN
Always include the operating instructions when handing the device to a
third party.
Secure the load to prevent it from slipping before inserting the device.
Apply the handbrake and engage a gear. Secure the wheels that will not
be raised with chocks.
Consult your vehicle's owner manual for the location of the vehicle's
support points. Lift the load only at the designated support points to avoid
material damage.
While lifting, monitor how the device behaves while it is bearing the load.
Insert the handle into the head of the jack. Secure the end of the handle
with the retaining bolt. Tighten the retaining bolt to fix the handle in place.
Lifting a load:
• Before starting the pumping operation, turn the outlet valve clockwise
with the handle until it is firmly closed.
• Position the jack so that the saddle is centred at an appropriate lifting
point under the vehicle.
• Depress the foot pedal to raise the saddle as close as possible to the
support point. Pump the jack at the handle to maintain the height of the
saddle.
• Actuate the handle on the jack until the saddle is in contact with the load.
Check again that the saddle is correctly positioned.
• Lift the load to the desired height, then transfer the load to suitable
blocks/supports.
Lowering a load:
• Start by lifting the load with the jack so that you can remove the blocks/
supports.
• Slowly turn the outlet valve anti-clockwise, approximately one half to one
full rotation. If the piston remains extended, press it downwards by hand
so that it is no longer exposed to air – this helps to avoid the risk of rust
formation.
MAINTENANCE
Important:
• a). The oil type is ESSO SAE 15.
• b). Fluids other than high-grade hydraulic oil must not be used.
• c). Unsuitable fluid can severely damage the internal parts of the jack.
Filling the oil
Press the pressure piston fully downwards. Use a cross-head screwdriver
to remove the rubber plug from the oil reservoir and pour oil into the
opening.
