2. SAFETY RULES AND
PRECAUTIONS
To avoid mishandling this machine, read all
instructions in this manual before using it for the first
time. All the information included in this manual is
relevant to your personal safety and that of the people,
animals and things around you. If you have any
questions regarding the information included in this
manual, ask a professional or go to the point of sale
where you purchased this machine to resolve it.
2.1. USERS
This machine has been designed to be manipulated by
users of legal age and who have read and understood
these instructions.

machine.

Before using this machine, familiarize yourself with it,
ensuring that you know exactly where all the controls,
safety devices are and how they should be used. If you
are an inexperienced user, we recommend that you
carry out a minimum practice doing simple tasks and,
if possible, in the company of an experienced person.
ATTENTION: Only lend this machine to people who
are familiar with this type of machine and know how to
use it. Always provide the instruction manual together
with the machine so that the user can read it carefully
and understand it. This machine is dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
2.2. PERSONAL SECURITY
Be alert, watch what you are doing, and use common
sense when operating this machine.
Keep your free hand away from the cutting area. Never
touch the blades, they are very sharp and can be cut.
Always wear protective gloves while pruning.
Do not use this machine when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications. A
moment of distraction while operating this machine
can cause serious personal injury.
Avoid accidental starting of the machine. Make sure
the switch is in the "open" position before connecting
the battery, picking up or transporting this machine.
Carrying electrical machines with your finger on the
switch or inserting the battery into electrical machines
that have the switch in the "closed" position can put
your safety at risk and cause accidents.
Don't overdo tit. Keep your feet firmly on the ground
and stay balanced at all times. Always maintain proper
foot support and operate the scissors only when
standing on a fixed, secure and level surface. Sliding
or unstable surfaces such as stairs can cause a loss
of balance.
Always wear safety gear. Always wear eye protection,
safety gloves and non-slip boots.
Keep all parts of the body away from the blades
when the machine is running.
When cutting a branch that is under tension, be alert
to the risk of elastic return. When the tension of the
wood fibers is released, the branch, under a spring
effect, can hit the operator
When transporting or storing the scissors, lock the
blades in the closed position and disconnect the
battery.
