5) Apply the detergent so that it thoroughly covers the surface to be cleaned.
Apply from bottom to top to prevent the detergent from flowing and
streaking.
6) Let the detergent stay on the surface for a few minutes. This is a good time to
use the brush to gently scrub heavily contaminated areas.
Never let the detergent dry on the surface.
7) Remove the detergent applicator from the gun and replace it with the lance,
or remove the applicator from the end of the lance.
8) Rinse the detergent off the surface.
NOTE: Rinse the detergent applicator with clean water after each use.
FINAL RINSE
Start the final rinse at the bottom and move it upwards. Make sure the surface is rinsed
thoroughly and that all detergent has been removed.
SWITCHING OFF THE DEVICE
1) Make sure all detergent is rinsed out of the machine.
2) Turn off the engine.
3) Turn off the water supply.
4) With the engine and water off, squeeze the gun trigger to release pressure
inside the unit.
NOTE: NEVER turn off the water supply before turning off the engine. This
could seriously damage the pump and/or motor.
WARNING! NEVER disconnect the high-pressure discharge hose from the
machine while the system is under pressure. To release the pressure, turn off
the engine, shut off the water supply and pull the trigger 2-3 times.
5) After each use, wipe all surfaces of the pressure washer with a clean, damp
cloth.
STORAGE
Do not store the pressure washer outdoors.
Do not store the pressure washer in an area where it may freeze.
TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF THE PRESSURE WASHER
a) Never use the appliance without water.
b) The pressure washer is not intended for pumping hot water. Never connect it
to a hot water supply - this will significantly reduce the life of the pump.
c)
Never use the appliance without water for more than one (1) minute. The
resulting heat build-up will damage the pump.
d) Release the trigger before adjusting the nozzle pressure (high to low or low to
high). Failure to do so will shorten the life of the sealing rings in the lance.
