EN Carbon monoxide (CO) detectors should be installed in a room with a combustion
appliance (possible source of CO).
• At a horizontal distance between 1-3 meters from the CO source;
• Central location in the room, at least 30 centimeters from walls;
• In rooms without combustion appliance place the CO detector on breathing height;
• Avoid existing air inlets or outlets and other objects on the ceiling;
• Avoid locations behind objects such as curtains and cupboards.
NL Koolmonoxidemelders moeten worden geïnstalleerd in een ruimte met een
verbrandingstoestel (mogelijke bron van CO).
• Op een horizontale afstand tussen 1-3 meter van de CO-bron;
• Centrale ligging in de kamer, minimaal 30 centimeter van muren;
• Plaats in ruimtes zonder verbrandingstoestel de CO-melder op ademhoogte;
• Vermijd bestaande luchtinlaten of -uitlaten en andere objecten aan het plafond;
• Vermijd locaties achter objecten zoals gordijnen en kasten.
