Functions
My First Baby Annabell® I Care for You is a feature doll with seven activities. You will be able to use ad-
ditional features with the My First Baby Annabell® Nurturing App. For more information see the chapter
"Playing with app".
1)
Playing without app: please use switch position NO APP.
-
Baby sounds: When you turn on your doll, you will hear cute baby sounds that will be repeated
during the play period. Please note that you cannot start a new function while the doll is still talk-
ing.
Kissing: When you touch or kiss her forehead, the doll will react with a happy baby laugh. (Fig ①)
-
-
Feeding: To feed your doll, put the bottle in her mouth so that it touches the inside of the mouth
continuously. The doll will react with sucking sounds. Keep feeding the doll until no more sounds
can be heard and the doll is full. If you interrupt too early, the doll will start crying and asking for
more. You will need to feed her more until the sucking stops. (Fig ②)
-
Clean her face: Use the little fabric to clean your doll's face by wiping her cheeks with soft pres-
sure. The doll will react with baby sounds. (Fig ③)
-
Burping: Help your doll burp by patting the doll's back several times with your flat hand. (Fig ④)
-
Tickling: Your doll loves to be tickled. Keep her upright and softly press her tummy. You will make
her laugh happily. (Fig ⑤)
-
Changing nappy: To change her nappy, place your doll in a horizontal position. When you close
the nappy, press her belly softly. You will hear baby sounds that tell you that she is content now.
(Fig ⑥)
-
Sleeping: If you position your doll on one side, she will first yawn and finally start to sleep with
soft breathing sounds. You can wake her up by taking the doll back into an upright position. (Fig
⑦)
-
Standby: Discontinuing play for more than 2 minutes will automatically make the doll go into an
energy saving standby mode. You can activate her again by picking her up and bringing her back
into an upright position.
2)
Playing with app: please use switch position APP.
For additional play fun we offer a free nurturing app "My First Baby Annabell" which can be used on
smart devices and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google play Store. This app teaches
children in a very playful manner how to interact with the My First Baby Annabell® I Care for You doll.
There are three play sequences to discover which each represent a part of a typical day in a baby's life
(morning, midday, evening). Beautiful illustrations and a soothing moderating voice help the child to
understand the doll functions and enhance the play experience with the doll.
