Disconnect electrical supply before
servicing or cleaning the unit.
Failure to do so could result in elec-
trical shock or personal injury from
cleaner suddenly starting.
TO CHECK BRUSHES:
➢ ➢ When brushes are worn to the level
of the base support bar, replace the
agitator.
TO REPLACE BRUSH AGITATOR
UNIT
➢ ➢ Remove POWER NOZZLE cover,
belt and agitator assembly. (See
"REMOVING BELT").
➢ ➢ Remove agitator supports,
washers, screws, end brush, brush
sprocket, and brush sprocket
flange from ends of agitator
assembly.
➢ ➢ Replace agitator assembly.
➢ ➢ Reassemble agitator assembly.
➢ ➢ To line up screw holes in dowel,
sprocket and end brush, be sure the
brush portion of end brush lines up
with brushes on brush dowel.
➢ ➢ Replace belt, agitator assembly and
POWER NOZZLE cover screws.
