Clean the appliance and parts used

and maintenance (page 33).

Cleaning and maintenance

Before beginning any work, pay attention
to the safety instructions in the section
Safety instructions (page 19)!
Cleaning the appliance
Switch off the appliance and pull the
‹
plug out of the mains socket.
Allow the appliance to cool down
‹
completely.
Use kitchen roll to absorb any liquid
‹
residue on the function plates.
Remove the function plates and clean
‹
them in a warm washing-up liquid
solution.
Wipe the outside and inside of the
‹
housing of the appliance (1) with a
lightly damp cloth.
Dry all parts of the appliance thor-
‹
oughly after cleaning.
NOTE
► Dried and caked food residues on
the function plates can be removed
more easily if you allow them to soak
in warm washing-up liquid solution
for 10 minutes before cleaning.
► Do not use sharp objects or house-
hold cleaners to clean the appliance.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance
for a longer period of time, clean it as
described in the section Cleaning and
maintenance (page 33).
Store the appliance in a dry, clean and
frost-free place which is protected against
direct sunlight.
