Adjustment of sensitivity
The sealing plug which is fixed at the cable protects the adjustment elements against humidity and dirt.
To adjust the sensor, remove the sealing plug.
Sensitivity adjustment - Potentiometer 1 (20 turns)
• Immerse the active area (= thread-free zone or 25 mm) into the product to be detected.
• Turn the potentiometer clockwise until the switching point is achieved (LED on).
• Then turn the potentiometer further 90° clockwise (reliable switching).
• If the sensor switches immediately when immersing the sensor then turn the potentiometer counter-
clockwise to the switching point and then clockwise again as described above.
Adjustment of the time Delay - Potentiometer 2 (270°):
Dependent on the model the sensor has an adjustable on delay and/or off delay. The adjustable time
range is: 1 sec. to 10 min.
Turn the 270° potentiometer clockwise to the required time delay. The LED display is flashing fast or slow
related to the adjusted time.
If existing:
Change-over switch on delay or off delay
After adjusting the sensor, close the adjustment elements again with the sealing plug.

Do not change the filling level whilst doing the adjustment!

• It is not possible to repair the device. If you have any problems, please contact directly your customer
service.
• Please dispose of the device in a way that is environmentally friendly according to the national
regulations.
