1.
Ensure the tool is
disconnected from the power
supply
2. Loosen the Bevel Adjustment
Lever (14) at the front of the
saw.
3. Angle the saw body to the
required degree setting, as marked on the Bevel Scale
(12).
Note: The bevel scale should only be used as a reference.
If an accurate angle is required, perform several test cuts
until the required bevel is achieved.
4. Re-tighten the bevel adjustment lever.

POWER SWITCH

Ensure that both hands are firmly on the hand grips of the
tool before switching on.
• Pull the Trigger Switch (19) 'ON'. There will be some
initial resistance when pulling the trigger on - this is a
safety mechanism, to prevent accidental starting of the
saw.
• Releasing the trigger will switch the tool 'OFF'.
Do not engage the blade with the workpiece until it is
spinning at full speed - likewise avoid switching off the
tool until the cut is complete.
PARALLEL CUTTING GUIDE
• The Parallel Cutting Guide
(15) can be used on the left or
right of the blade.
• Using the guide provides accurate cuts without the need
to follow pencil lines.
1. With the thumb screw on the base plate loosened slide
the Parallel Cutting Guide (15) into the mounting slots on
the base plate, from either the left or right hand side.
2. Slide it along until the required cut width is reached.
3. Tighten the thumb screw to lock it into position.
SIGHTING THE CUT LINE
The Blade Sighting Notch (16) in front of the saw blade
provides guidance when cutting along a pencil line.
For 90˚ cuts use the right hand indicator (when viewed from
the operator's perspective) and the left hand indicator for
45˚ cuts.
LASER SIGHTING
Warning:
• Do not stare directly at the laser beam.
Ensure the laser beam is
aimed at a sturdy workpiece
without reflective surfaces. ie
wood or rough coated surfaces
are acceptable. Bright shiny
reflective sheet steel or similar
is not suitable for laser use
as the reflective surface could
direct the beam back at the operator.
• Only activate the laser beam when the tool is on the
workpiece
1. Rest the front edge of the Base Plate (6) on the
workpiece. Ensure the blade is not touching the
workpiece.
2. Switch on the Laser Sight On/Off Button (8).
Note: The laser will not operate if the tool is not plugged in
and switched on at the mains.
3. Line up the beam with your pencil line.
4. Commence the cut.
5. Switch off the laser.
