Operating information
Please observe the supplied Döllken instructions for hot-melt adhesive to
ensure perfect adhesive application.
• Surfaces to be glued should be be acclimatized to at least 18 °C and free
of dust, grease and moisture. Remainders of wax, separating oils, plasticiz-
ers or impregnation media on the workpieces can lead to loosening of the
adhesion immediately or later.
• Apply the adhesive in a continuous line on the back of the profile.
• The amount of applied adhesive depends on the structure of the wall.
• For wavy, uneven walls, the restoring force of the skirting board must be
compensated for by applying more adhesive.
• It is important to note that the profile should be bonded within 30 seconds
to achieve optimum adhesion.
• Immediately after application, the profiles must be pressed firmly against
the wall, fixed in the installation position and not pulled off.
• Cold wall surfaces (below 16 °C) will reduce the working time!
