6. Position the appliance on a stable, dry, level, heat-resistant surface near an
electrical outlet.
7. Unroll the electrical cord.
8. Operate this appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other appli-
ances to avoid overloading the circuit.

USING THE APPLIANCE:

1. Make sure the unit is unplugged. Place appliance on clean, dry surface.
2. Place Ice Shaving Chamber in Main body and ensure it is seated on the
shaft. (FIG. 1 )
3. Twist the shaft in direction of arrow to lock into position. (FIG. 2 )
4. Place the Mixing Paddle onto shaft on the bottom of the plastic jar.
5. If mixing shaved ice with other ingredients, place ingredients inside the jar.
6. Slide the jar into groove on main body and turn clockwise until it stops. This
will allow the Mixing Paddle to mix ice and ingredients once operation be-
gins. (FIG. 3 ). NOTE: Make sure that when turning the jar in clockwise direc-
tion, the mixing paddle fits into the chamber gear that is directly on top. If
it is not properly placed, the jar will not fit correctly, and the mixing paddle
will not turn and mix the ice with the other ingredients inside the jar.
7. Turn Selector knob to desired setting. Fine setting produces finer ice. Coarse
setting produces coarser ice.
8. Place ice in Ice Shaving Chamber. NOTE: Do NOT shave ice above MAX line.
9. Plug cord into outlet.
10. Place Lid on Main body and turn counterclockwise until you hear the "click"
