When do I have to clean it?
- after each malfunction, i.e. after the dust bag
tears or after removing a blockage.
- after 6 months at the latest.
After washing by hand, the permanent filter may
only be reinserted after a drying time of approxi-
mately 24 hours.
Changing the HEPA Exhaust Filter
After approx. 50 hours of normal operation, the
LCD display will indicate that the exhaust filter
must be changed. The symbol blinks to indicate
this.
Method of Changing the HEPA
Exhaust Filter
Pull the unlocking button of the dust space lid and
open the dust space lid until it snaps into place.
Press against the snap of the exhaust filter that is
above the dust space and pull it out of the exhaust
shaft. Insert a new exhaust filter. In the process,
make sure that the filter is fastened centrally in the
exhaust channel and make sure that it is seated
firmly in the casing by the snap fastener.
When do I have to change the exhaust
filter ahead of time?
- when the vacuum cleaner is used improperly
such as vacuuming without a paper bag (Airbox)
or without a motor protection filter, or when the
dust bag tears
- Reset the electronics when inserting a new HEPA
exhaust filter. After inserting the new exhaust
filter and closing the dust space lid, switch on your
appliance with the ON/OFF button. Press the +
or – button so that your appliance starts. By sub-
sequently pressing the + and – buttons together
for approximately 5 seconds, the exhaust filter
change display resets itself to „0".
