CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electricity su-
pply. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Do not immerse the appliance and power cord in water or other liquids and do not wash
them in the dishwasher.
Wipe the toaster with a damp cloth and a little dishwashing liquid. Do not use harsh clea-
ners, wire cloths, metal objects, hot cleaners or disinfectants as they may damage the
appliance.
To remove stuck bread slices, unplug the toaster from the drawer, turn it over and shake
it gently.
Never attempt to remove stuck bread slices with sharp or pointed tools or cutlery.
Regularly remove crumbs and small pieces of bread from the crumb tray. This is done by
pulling the crumb tray sideways all the way out and emptying it. Wipe the crumb tray with
a damp cloth and then carefully dry it and push it back into the appliance.
The appliance must be completely dry before further use.

cable in the European Union for the disposal and re-use of waste electronic and
