INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
The mixer must remain switched off while the connections are being made.
Check that the cable connectors are firmly connected to the input connectors. A bad connection could cause
noise and interference.
Use suitable cables that are not excessively long to make the connections: shielded cables, preferably low
capacity.
Always start with the mixer volume controls at their minimum. Move the controls slowly.
Connect the source to the 230 V AC mains socket.
When the mixer is not being used, disconnect it from the mains socket so as not to use electricity.
CONNECTION DIAGRAM
The mixer/preamplifier model MX-875-SR can have two operating modes depending on the inputs we have
connected to it:
MIXER MODE
In this operating mode it is possible to connect up to 6 microphones, whether they are dynamic or condensor.
If the connected microphone requires PHANTOM power supply, activate it.
If any coupling or acoustic feedback is produced due to the acoustic conditions of the premises, in one or
several of the connected microphones, the feedback suppressor for this input can be activated using the
corresponding button on the front panel.
The MASTER OUTPUT can be connected to a power amp. or to autoamplified loudspeakers.
EXTERNAL SOURCE FEEDBACK SUPPRESSOR MODE
In this operating mode, the mixer/preamplifier model MX-875-SR would act as a feedback suppressor for
an external source.
Connect the external source output (microphone mixer, independent conference system) to the LINE INPUT
on the rear panel. If any coupling or acoustic feedback is produced, due to the acoustic conditions of the
premises, activate the feedback suppressor for this input by pressing the LINE button on the front panel.
The LINE OUTPUT can be fed into the external source agian if this has SEND/RETURN or PRE OUT/AMP
IN. If this is not the case, the LINE OUTPUT can be connected to a power amp.
