Suction level is too low
In the case of multi-workbench extraction units: the
suction power is too low because an additional suc-
tion channel has been connected.
Filter blockage
Changing the filter bag / cleaning the filter do not
result in the expected improvement.
Blockage in the suction point (suction mouth)
Blockage in the suction line
Leakage in the section of the suction line between
the SILENT flow sensor and the extraction unit.
Determining the cause and measures can be carried out in the order shown.
After every measure, you should switch on the extraction unit again and check whether the minimum flow
rate is again exceeded so that correct operation is possible again.
Checking function
Every day when beginning your work, check the function of the SILENT flow sensor as described in the
sections "Checking leak-tightness" and "Checking function".
Cleaning / maintenance
The unit does not contain any internal parts that require maintenance.
Do not use compressed air!
Compressed air irreparably damages the sensitive measurement equipment.
Using compressed air to blow off deposits of dust is generally not permitted.
To clean the unit, only wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
Do not use any solvent-based or abrasive cleaning agents.
Effectiveness of the measurement equipment
The effectiveness of the measurement equipment must be checked annually as described in the sections
"Checking leak-tightness" and "Checking function".
Disposal information
For this reason, equipment with this symbol may not be disposed of in unsorted domestic waste
within the European Union.
Please contact your local authorities for more information on proper disposal.

Measure
• Choose a higher suction level
• Stop working with the additional suction channel.
• In the case of extraction units with a pre-filter (filter
bag): change the filter bag.
• In the case of extraction units without a filter bag: clean
the filter.
• Change the fine filter.
• When doing so, observe the instructions and the safe-
ty information for the corresponding extraction unit in
order to ensure that changing the fine filter results in as
little dust as possible.
• Disconnect the suction hose at the suction point and
check whether there is a blockage in the suction point;
remove where appropriate.
• Check the suction line at all disconnection points /
check service openings section by section for blockag-
es.
• Check that the outlet nozzle of the SILENT flow sensor
has been fully screwed into the SILENT flow sensor
until stop and that the end bushing of the suction tube
is fully inserted into the outlet nozzle.
