Static Alignment
Sagittal Plane

With the flexion accommodated, the load
line should pass through the target shown in
the image, ±10 mm A–P. The target intersects
the point where the anterior face of the shin
meets the keel.
Make sure that when the user is standing, the
heel and toe are evenly loaded and the foot is
in full contact with the floor.

Dynamic Alignment
Coronal Plane
Minimize M–L thrust by adjusting the relative
positions of the socket and the foot .
Sagittal Plane
Adjust the relative position of the socket and
the foot to ensure that the user transitions
smoothly from heel strike to toe-off.
