Only use rechargeable batteries of the correct size and and the
recommended type (see section "Technical data").
Ensure correct polarity, indicated in the battery compartment.

Functionality

The solar cell built into the product converts sunlight into electricity and
stores it in a Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The light switches on at dusk.
The in-built light-emitting diodes have a very long-life and are an energy-
saving light source. The light duration depends on the amount of sun-
light, the angle at which light hits the solar panel, and the temperature
(the battery capacity varies by temperature). A vertical angle of light
at temperatures above the freezing point is ideal. The rechargeable bat-
tery will only achieve its maximum capacity after several charging and
discharging cycles.

Initial use

Assembling the light

Thread the LED wire
Attach the glass light bulb
Connect the ground stake
Then push the ground stake
location.
Fold down the solar cell housing with battery compartment
