3.2 Remove the handpiece
Unlock the medical device from the motor coupling by twisting it slightly and then pulling it along its axis (Fig. 4).
CAUTION
When motor is running, do not remove the handpiece.
Stop operation if the handpiece is getting warm.

3.3 Insert the handpiece drill bur
– Rotate the tension ring in the direction of the arrow to the backstop and insert the surgical bur into the chuck.
– Turn the tension ring back into its initial position.
– Check that the surgical bur is securely attached by pulling on it.
CAUTION
– Do not use unauthorized surgical burs.
– Make sure that the surgical bur is inserted till the end.
– Do not run the motor when the tension ring is not back into its initial position.
– Keep a bur inserted in the handpiece even when it is not used.
