4. INSTALL THE AIR CONDITIONER

IN THE WINDOW
A. Mark t he cent er of t he window. Set t he air
condit ioner in t he window so t hat is it cent ered.
Place t he air condit ioner so t hat front edge of t he
bot t om mount ing rail is against t he back edge of t he
sill.
B. Bring t he window down so t hat t he front edge of t he
t op mount ing is in front of t he window. Make sure
t hat t he air condit ioner is level or t ilt ing slight ly t o
t he out side.
C. Ext end t he curt ain panels unt il t hey fill t he window.
Mark t he locat ion of t he holes in each corner. Use
t he drill and 1/ 8" drill bit t o drill pilot holes. Use 4
t ype B screws t o secure t he side panels in place.

A. Loosen t he screw on t he right hand side of t he air
condit ioner near t he bot t om.
B. Slide a side bracket over t he screw so t hat t he
bracket is rest ing on t he window sill. Tight en t he
screw.
C. Use a 1/ 8" drill bit t o drill a st art er hole int o t he
window sill t hrough t he holes in t he side bracket .
Use 4 t ype B screws t o at t ach t he side bracket t o t he
window sill.
D. Repeat t he side bracket inst allat ion on t he left side.
E. Measure and cut adhesive foam backed sheet . Apply
over side curt ain and frame.
