Mount the optional module and the EEPROM 6IC6 in the new chassis
Place new chassis in the TV and reconnect plugs to the chassis
Reconnect plugs on PCB10
Reconnect plugs on PCB60
Place leads in the holders
Replacement of plasma screen modules

- Mount the EEPROM 6IC6 in the new chassis. Remember to point the IC in the
right direction. See
- Remount the optional module in the new chassis.
- Carefully push the chassis into the cabinet with the upper part fi rst. Then push the
lower part into the right position. Be carefull not to squeeze neither the wires
from the plasma screen nor the mains lead.
- Fasten the 2 screws (B) and reconnect plugs on PCB3: 3P422, 3P447, 3P429,
3P443, 3P445 and 3P421. See
- Reconnect plugs on PCB10:10P77 and 10P78. See
- Reconnect the plugs 60P448, 60P449. See
- Place the leads and wires in the holders appropriate for this.

the following pages. Visual guides for replacement of all the modules is placed in
the back of this guide. See page 6.27 Unmounting the plasma screen and the
following pages.
IMPORTANT: Always place the plasma screen in a vertical direction. It will be
damaged if placed horizontal. Before taken the screen to a workshop it is
important to check the screen for burn-in and pixel errors!
- CAT Panel menu appears.
- Place the cursor on IIC Mode and press OK and a new on-screen-display will
appear.

display until "Aging" appears.
- Press OK to activate the internal test pictures.
- Press OK to step between the different test pictures.
- Use the "Green", "Red" and "Blue" test picture for checking the pixels.
- Toggle with the R button to return to the CAT Panel menu.
- Leave the menu by pressing the C button.
