1. Before using the thermometer for the first time, please read
the operating instructions carefully, keep them for later use
and pass them on to third parties if the thermometers are
passed on to them. This thermometer should not be used by
persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or lack of
knowledge.
2. The packaging of the thermometer may cause suffocation
in children.
3. The guarantee becomes void if the thermometer is tampered
with.
4. Do not operate thermometer near equipment with
interfering radiation.
5. Thermometer is designed for private households only and
may not be used for commercial purposes.
6. Cleaning the temperature probe needles and the
thermometer housing: It is recommended that the needle
is cleaned using a soft, moistened cloth. Avoid using caustic
or chemical cleaning agents and do not immerse the needle
or the thermometer housing in water.
7. Be careful, the needle of the probe is very pointed. There is
a risk of injury. After use and cleaning, replace the needle
protection onto the tip of the probe.
8. Please never expose the thermometer to direct heat.
9. Please note the heat resistance of the probe up to
max. 300 degrees Celsius.
10. Please use the colour marking of the probes only up to
max. 300 degrees Celsius.
11. Always store and use the thermometer in a dry place.
12. Always keep the device and batteries away from children.
13. Make sure that you use the correct type of battery and always
insert it in the prescribed direction of polarity.
14. Only use fresh batteries for replacement and never use those
with visible damage - overheating or explosions could occur.
15. Never throw used batteries into fire. Danger of explosion!
16. The batteries of this thermometer are not rechargeable.
17. Remove the batteries if the thermometer is not used for
a longer period of time to avoid damage due to possible
battery leakage.
18. Never short-circuit batteries.
Battery disposal
Batteries do not belong in the household waste. As a
consumer you are legally obliged to return used batteries.
You can dispose of your old batteries at the public
collection points in your community or anywhere else
where the same type of batteries are sold.

waste, but should be handed in at a collection point for the
