CLEANING THE SURFACE
Clean surface of machine wit h a wet soft clot h. Do not
use chemicals, such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline, etc.;
ot herwise, t he surface of t he air condit ioner will be damaged
or t he ent ire unit will be damaged.
AIR FILTER
The air filters should be cleaned at least every t wo weeks for
your unit to operate at opt imum efficiency.
CAUTION
DO NOT operate t he air condit ioner
wit hout a filter because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce
performance.
To clean t he upper filter screen frame:
1. Remove t he upper and lower filter screens. On t he top
filter, place finger in recess at top of filter and pull down
and out ward to remove. On t he lower filter, place finger
in recess at bot tom of filter, pull upward and out ward to
remove filter.
STORAGE
If t he unit is not being used for a long period of t ime:
To Empt y t he Internal Water Tank:
1. Unplug or disconnect power.
2. Drain t he water from t he water t ank. (See "Internal Water
Tank sect ion" above.)

2. Use only a soft clot h dampened wit h water to clean t he
cabinet .
NOTE:
•Do not use a liquid or spray cleaner to clean t he air
condit ioner.
•DO NOT use chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine
bleach, concent rated detergent s, solvent s or scouring
pads. Some of t hese chemicals/ items may damage and/or
discolor your air condit ioner.
3. Dry t horoughly wit h a soft clot h.
4. Plug in or reconnect power.
2. Remove t he filter from t he filter frame. It is held in place by
4 t abs. After removal, wash or vacuum t he filter to remove
t he dirt and lint . Make sure filter is dry before reinst alling
on t he unit .
3. Use t he original packaging to repack t he unit to avoid a
buildup of dust or dirt .
4. Store t he air condit ioner in a cool, dry locat ion.
