Placing the specimen
8.3.1
B-20R / M-100FX / M-100FLed
1. Place the specimen on the stage and secure it using the
stage clips ①. (Fig. 7).
8.3.2
B-20CR
Stage accepts standard slides 26 x 76 mm, thickness 1,2 mm
with coverslide 0,17 mm. (Fig. 8)
1. Open the spring arm of the slide holder ② and place the slide
from the front on the stage.
2. Gently release the spring arm of the slide holder.
•
A sudden release of the spring arm could cause the fall-
ing of the slide.
8.4
Use with batteries
8.4.1
M-100FLed
•
The microscope is provided with an ON-OFF switch ③ (Fig.
9) placed on the bottom side of the microscope. The use of
the switch is as follows:
1. Switch placed in "OFF" position: use of the microscope
is possible only with external power supply. Battery use and
recharge is disabled.
2. Switch placed in "ON" position: use of the microscope is
possible either with external power supply or with batteries.
In this case the battery recharge is enabled.
•
Once the batteries are charged, it is recommended to
disconnect the power supply, or set the switch to "OFF".
8.4.2
B-20R / B-20CR
•
The batteries recharge when the power supply is connected
to the power outlet. Unplugging the power supply starts the
microscope's battery operation.
•
Once the batteries are charged, it is recommended to
disconnect the power supply.
