8. Troubleshooting
Many common problems can be solved at home, without specific expertise. If you experience
a problem with your appliance, please check all the possibilities listed below and follow the
instructions before contacting our after-sales service. See CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Before performing any maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the plug from
the mains socket.
Electrical equipment should only be serviced by qualified electrical experts, because improper
repairs can cause considerable damage.
A damaged power supply unit should only be replaced by the manufacturer, the licensed
service agent, or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.

The compressor
does not work.
The appliance runs
frequently or runs for
an excessively long
period of time.
The inside of the
refrigerator is dirty
and/ or smelly.

The plug is not connected to the
mains socket.
The appliance is performing a
defrosting cycle
The indoor or outdoor
temperature is too high.
The appliance has been powered
off for some time.
A door or drawer in the appliance
is not closed tightly.
A door or drawer has been opened
too frequently or for too long.
The temperature setting for the
freezer compartment is too low.
The door/drawer seal is dirty,
worn, cracked or mismatched.
The required air circulation is not
guaranteed.
The inside of the refrigerator
needs cleaning.
Food with a strong odour is being
stored in the refrigerator.
Possible Solution
Connect the mains plug.
This is normal during automatic
defrosting
In this case, it is normal for the
appliance to run longer.
It normally takes 8 to 12 hours
for the appliance to cool down
completely.
Close the door/drawer and
ensure the appliance is
positioned on level ground and
there is no food or container
preventing the door from
closing properly.
Do not open the door/drawer
too frequently.
Set the temperature higher
until a satisfactory refrigerator
temperature is obtained. It
takes 24 hours for the
refrigerator temperature to
become stable.
Clean the door/drawer seal or
have customer service replace it.
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Clean the inside of the
refrigerator.
Wrap the food thoroughly.
