ASSEMBLY OF THE EXTERNAL DRIVELINE SHIELD
Grease the seat of the half-rings.

Insert the bearing ring

Position the half-rings (with a smaller diameter) so that the tabs are coupled

to the seats on the bearing ring.
Insert the outer cone by orienting the hole with the reference pin.

Insert the internal plastic tube and base cone assembly by orienting the hole

with the reference pin.
Tighten the fixing screws.

REMOVING THE GUARD FROM CONSTANT VELOCITY (CV) JOINTS
Loosen the metal grease fitting on the cv-joint bearing ring.

Loosen the screws on the hard shell.

Remove the hard shell.

Unscrew the base cone fixing screws.

Remove the tube and base cone assembly.

Remove the outer cone.

Extract the half-rings.

Extract the bearing ring on the yoke
