- Inserting and removing the battery

• To insert, simply push pack in until lock spring clicks.
• To remove battery pack from the tool, press the lock spring buttons (d) in the functional
description) and pull out.
- Switch (B in the functional description)
• Make sure the battery pack is
installed.
• To switch on, push the bar (b in above
description) to the right and then
push forward and hold.
- Grinding Wheels
• Check to ensure that any discs used on this machine are rated for the 10000 rpm speed of
this grinder. Check also for any damage to an abrasive disc before installing. Any disc
that is cracked, has been dropped, or subjected to other damage due to temperature
extremes or solvents should be discarded. A damaged disc can fly apart in use and may
cause serious injury to the operator or bystanders.
- Guard
• Unlock the Wheel Guard.
• Align Tabs on Wheel Guard with notches on Gear
housing.
• Slide Wheel Guard over the rim of the Gear
Housing.
• Rotate the Wheel Guard as needed to shield you
during the planned work.
• Lock the Wheel Guard Handle (f).
• Tighten the Wheel Guard Nut securely.
• Check the Wheel Guard to ensure it is firmly in
place. Adjust if necessary before proceeding.

- Side Handle
• The auxiliary side handle for the grinder may be
mounted on either the left or right side of the tool.
Unplug the grinder. Screw the handle firmly into
the threaded hole on either side of the metal
grinding head.
- Guard
• When in center position, it is locked in neutral
and the trigger is blocked. Do not push the
rotation direction knob until the chuck stops
turning.

• Turn the tool upside down.
• Place the inner flange on the spindle so that it matches with the flats on the shaft.
• Fit the disc over the ring on the inner flange.
• Depress and hold down the spindle lock button (2) to secure the spindle.
• Turn the shaft until it locks.

• Remove the outer flange (a) and backing flange (b) by using the two-hole spanner
provided.
• Fit the desired disc (8) on the spindle and replace the outer flange and backing flange.
Release the spindle lock.
