Grinding
Important! Only ever press the spindle lock when the motor and grinding spindle are
at a standstill!
You must keep the spindle lock pressed while you change the wheel !
For grinding wheels up to approx. 3 mm thick, screw on the flange nut with the
flat side facing the grinding wheel.
- Running The Tool
• Turn on the tool.
• Hold the tool firmly with one hand on the side handle and theo ther gripping the
housing.
• Check to make sure the abrasive disc is not obstructed.
• Slide the switch on the left side of the machine forward with your thumb.

• Moving parts get stuck.
• Speed drops to an abnormally low level.
• The motor housing gets hot.
• Sparks or odors emit from the casing.

MAINTENANCE
Keep the tool clean using a soft damp (not wet) cloth. Do not use solvents on the plastic
parts.
Lubrication is not necessary. After long use, have an authorized service center maintain
and lubricate the tool.
Remove the battery pack
To maintain the best performance of your rechargeable Li-ion battery, protect it from
overheating, both from overcharging and during storage.
The battery may also benefit from a full discharge from time to time.
IMPORTANT: to assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, all mainte-nance, repairs or
adjustments (other than those mentioned in this manual) should be performed by autho-
rized repair centers using identi-cal replacement parts.
