How to recharge USB device
When charging of USB device is
completed
Selecting accessories
*1 How to use the Hook
The hook can be used to hang up the unit
temporarilyduring operations.
CAUTION
The hook should never be used to hang the unit on your
person.
When using the hook, check to make sure that the main
unit will not slip and fall, or become unstable by the wind,
etc.
Never hang the unit from your belt or trousers as this
could cause accidents.
*2 Adjusting the positions of bearing holders
WARNING
Securely tighten the M8 bolt.
Insuffi cient tightening will not only negatively aff ect
cutting precision, but may also damage the band saw
blade leading to personal injury.
NOTE
Cutting with excessively large spacing between bearing
holders may shorten the life of the band saw blade or
adversely aff ect cutting precision.
*3 Guide plate protrusion adjustment
In the ordinary operation, protrude the guide plate to the
A side fully.
When the guide plate strikes against the obstacles like
a wall or the like at the fi nishing of a cut, slide it at the
appropriate position.
*4 Switch operation
When you release the switch, the revolution of the band
saw blade will stop and the LED light will automatically
be extinguished in approximately 15 seconds.
○ Using a soft cloth, wipe off any foreign matter that
has adhered to the lens of the LED light, being
careful not to scratch the lens.
Scratches on the LED light may reduce the
brightness of the light.
○ When cleaning the lens of the LED light, do not wipe
with gasoline, paint thinner, etc.
Doing so will damage the lens.

*6 Adjusting operating speed
CAUTION
Use the band saw blade circumferential speed setting
dial to select a speed that is suitable for the workpiece.
Cutting with a band saw blade or band saw blade
circumferential speed that is unsuitable for the workpiece
will decrease cutting precision, and may also result in
damage to the band saw blade.
○ In Standard Mode, the circumferential speed of the
band saw blade can be freely set from 1 to 5 on the
dial.
On the dial, 1 is the lowest speed and 5 is the highest
speed.
In Standard Mode, the circumferential speed that is
set with the dial is maintained even when the load
changes.
○ In AUTO Mode ("A" on the dial), noise can be reduced
and the duration of operation can be extended by
lowering the circumferential speed when there is no
load.
In AUTO Mode, if a load is applied during operation,
the circumferential speed is automatically increased.
(Equivalent of 5 on the dial)
Additionally, if the load becomes lighter after
cutting is completed, the circumferential speed
is
automatically
consumption when there is no load.
