7. OPERATION
1) Charging the battery pack
CAUTION! Risk of injury! Comply with all
safety instructions when handling recharge-
able devices.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! Do not
allow the battery pack to deep discharge.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! Do not
press the On/Off switch after the device has
deactivated automatically.
Note: The Li-Ion battery pack can be
charged at any time without affecting the
lifetime of the unit. Interrupting the charging
process will not damage the battery pack.
Note: If the battery is fully loaded, the charger
automatically switches over to the mainte-
nance charge function. The battery can thus
remain in the charger permanently.
The battery pack must be charged prior to the first
start-up.( charging time: around 120 minutes.)
Press in the battery pack release button (12) and
remove the battery from the device.(See Fig.A,B).
Insert the battery pack into the charger (See Fig.C).
Plug the charger into the power supply.
The charging status is displayed by the control lights
(13).(more information
Slot the battery pack into the device and make sure
it clicks into place correctly. (See Fig.D,E)
Checking the remaining capacity of the battery
Press the battery capacity indicator switch button
(11).
The remaining capacity of the battery is displayed
by the 4LED control lights (10) .Battery capacity
indicator as below:
All 4 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
3 or 2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED blinks:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery pack is too hot (e.g. due to direct
sunshine or prolonged use) or too cold (below 32°F/
0°C), Do not use or charge the battery pack. make
sure the battery temperature to between 40°F(4°C)
and 104°F(40°C).

2) Switching on/off
Switching on (See Fig. H):
1. Ensure that the battery (9) is inserted.
2. Press the switch lock (7).
3. With the switch lock pressed, push the on/off
switch (8).
4. You can progressively control the stroke rate by
using the on/off switch (8).
Gentle pressure: low stroke rate.
Greater pressure: higher stroke rate.
The on/off switch cannot be locked.

1. Before cutting any type of wood or metal, be sure
the work piece is firmly anchored or clamped to
prevent slipping.
2. Place blade and soleplate lightly against work to be
cut.
3. Switch on saw motor before applying pressure.
4. Always hold saw firmly with both hands while
cutting. Whenever possible, the soleplate must be
held firmly against the material being cut. This will
prevent the saw from jumping or vibrating and
minimize blade breakage.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER! Risk of injury! Before any mainte-
nance or cleaning work:
Remove the battery.
Let the device cool down.
Cleaning
The device must not be sprayed with water or placed in
water. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
Keep the ventilation holes (6) and the motor housing
of the device clean. Use a damp cloth or brush to
do this. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents.
This could damage the device irreparably.
Clean the saw blade holder with a brush or by
blowing out with compressed air. To do this,
remove the saw blade from the device.
Try to clean resinous surfaces with a damp,
lukewarm cloth that has been wrung out well. Make
sure that no liquids can get into the interior of the
housing!
Maintenance
Check the device before each use for obvious
defects such as loose, worn or damaged parts.
