Channels and frequencies table:

16 channels PMR-446. Only channels 1 to 8 are available by default. Channels 9 to 16
must be set by user before they can be selected. Channels 9 to 16 should only be used in
countries where these frequencies are allowed.
Setting the CTCSS/DCS codes:
1. Press and hold the [MENU] key until the code number starts to flash.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] key to select code number. Press the [PTT] to exit menu.
Setting and transmitting call tones:
1. Press the [MENU] key until call tone "CA" appears. The current call tone setting will
flash.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] key to change and listen to call tone. Press the [PTT] to exit menu.
VOX function (Voice operated transmission):
1. To turn ON the VOX function, press the [MENU] key until "VOX" appears on LCD. The
current setting (0, 1-3) will flash.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] key to select the sensitivity level. Press the [PTT] key to exit menu.
L3 = High sensitivity.
L2 = Medium sensitivity.
L1 = Low sensitivity.
L0 = Turn OFF the VOX function.
Dual watch function:
With this feature enabled, you can scan current channel and another channel alternately.
1. Press and hold the [MENU] key until "2CH" appears on the LCD. The current setting
(OF, 1-22) will flash.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] key to select channels. Press the [PTT] key to exit menu. The LCD will
alternate between "Home Channel" and "Dual Watch Channel". To turn OFF the Dual
Watch mode, set again to the "Dual Watch" menu to select OFF setting. If you set the
same channel and code as current channel, the Dual Watch function does not work.
Keypad Tones:
Press and hold the [▼] key while turn ON the radio to switch the keypad tone ON/OFF.
