Switch Presenting Stethoscope
• To select a different stethoscope to act as presenter,
touch and hold on the icon representing that stetho-
scope, until a sub menu appears.
• Select "Swap with Presenter" to make the selection
and activate that stethoscope.
Disconnection
• To disconnect a single stethoscope from the Listen-In,
touch and hold on the icon representing that stetho-
scope, until a sub menu appears.
• Select "Disconnect" to disconnect the stethoscope.
• To end the session and automatically disconnect all
the stethoscopes touch the 'End Session' button in the
'Connect/Assign' screen

Bluetooth Communication
®
The smart phone and Model 3200 stethoscopes are able to
receive and transmit data using the Bluetooth
wireless connectivity standard. Bluetooth
rypted form of wireless communication. First, make sure Blu-
etooth is activated on the smart phone by selecting Settings,
®
Wireless & Networks, and then select Bluetooth
use Bluetooth , each stethoscope must be paired to the smart

phone. The pairing process is used to generate a link key that
is used for authentication purposes during subsequent Blue-
tooth connections. Once paired, the stethoscope is able to

quickly and easily connect to the smart phone.
Pair Stethoscopes
Once the Bluetooth feature is activated, pair each
®
Model 3200 stethoscope to the smart phone.
• Exit the Listen-In software and open the smart phone's
Settings menu.
• Select Wireless & Networks and then select "Bluetooth
settings".
• Using the Model 3200 stethoscope, press the "M"
button, then press the "-" button to scroll to PAIR and
press the "M" button again. Then, on the smart pho-
ne, select Scan for Devices.

• Scroll down to the "Bluetooth devices" section. The
stethoscope's serial number will appear after a short period
of time (the serial number begins with M3200 followed by
a space and then a series of numbers. Hint: turn the smart
phone to landscape mode to see the entire serial number).
• Select the stethoscope's serial number and the pairing
screen will be displayed. Enter the stethoscope's PIN
and touch OK (the PIN is the last four digits of the serial
number, and when the stethoscope is in pairing mode,
the PIN is shown on the display of the stethoscope).
• Repeat for each stethoscope. When finished, close the
Settings menu and return to the Listen-In.
• The newly paired stethoscope(s) will be displayed in
the Paired Stethoscopes list of the Pair Stethoscopes
screen and will be available to connect in the List View
and Picture View.
Un-pair Stethoscopes
To remove a stethoscope permanently from Listen-In,
unpair the stethoscope on the smart phone.
• Exit Listen-In open the smart phone's Settings menu
• Select Wireless & Networks and then select "Bluetooth
settings".
• Scroll down to locate and touch and hold on the stetho-

• On each Model 3200 stethoscope, press the "M" but-
ton to enter the Menu and press the "M" button again
to select CONNECT.
